Amy is a professionally qualified cake artist and designer who graduated from the International Culinary Center (founded as the French Culinary Institute) in New York City with a Grande Diplome in Cake & Pastry Arts. After completing an internship in New York, she returned to her home town of Sydney Australia to continue honing her skills and exploring the creative crafty world of cakes. Amy has also done freelance production work for some of the most renown cake studios in Sydney and has learned from some of the best in the industry including Ron Ben-Israel, Jean Michel Raynaud, Anthea Leonard, Anna Maria Roche, Maggie Austin and Margie Carter.

With a focus on clean lines, contemporary details and a bespoke design philosophy, Amy now takes on selected projects and limits the number of commissions to maximise the amount of focus and attention on each creation and maintain the highest standards.

Passionate about sharing the craft with others, Amy also teaches cake decorating classes on a casual basis and offers private one on one or small group tuition.
